While the catechesis was rich and faithful to the tradition of the church, the liturgy was sloppy, casual, and a significant departure from the tradition and sensibility of the Roman liturgy. Why was there such a wedge driven between liturgy and catechesis?
(bililngual) A Low Mass, more appropriately called a Missa Lecta, is a type of pre-conciliar Mass celebrated from the 1962 Missale Romanum of Pope St. John XXIII. It is a Mass without chanting or music and in which everything is read (lecta) instead of sung.
