Restoration Retreat is a warm, prayerful, and welcoming day for anyone walking through marital breakdown, separation or divorce—whether currently or years ago. Through prayer, reflection, the sacraments, teaching, and sharing in genuine community, you will experience healing and hope, rediscover your authentic identity as a beloved child of God, and move forward with greater peace, clarity, and purpose. This retreat is scheduled for July 11 from 9:50 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and can be attended virtually or in-person in Monona, Wisconsin.

The Mass: Meaning Behind the Mystery, July 11, one-day retreat at Saint Benedict Center, Schuyler, with Father Jeffery S. Loseke. Every Catholic at some point during the Mass has probably asked, “Why do we do that?” or “What does that mean?” Every word, gesture, object, sign, and symbol of the Mass is imbued with rich meaning and yet so much of it has been forgotten or is unknown to the average Mass-goer.

St. Sebastian Parish invites everyone to join them for a lively and unforgettable polka Mass on Saturday, July 11 at 5 p.m. at Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church in Pocahontas. Celebrate the area's Bohemian heritage while experiencing traditional liturgy uplifted by the toe-tapping sounds of live polka music by the Wendinger Band from New Ulm, Minnesota. Parishioners of Spencer Sacred Heart are invited to gather in the parish hall after the 11 a.m. Mass for donuts, coffee and juice. Meet new people, reconnect with friends and build our parish community. All are welcome.

Mater Dei Parish will host a Patriotic Rosary Rally, Sunday, July 12, from 3-4 p.m. at the Church of the Nativity, 4241 Natalia Way, Sioux City. Mater Dei's Patriotic Rosary Rally will include the 4th Degree Knight of Columbus and the 3rd Degree Mater Dei Knights of Columbus Council #5660, a number of patriotic songs, prayers for our country written by the Founding Fathers, and Benediction. All are welcome to join in prayer as hearts are turned to Our Sacred Heart and Blessed Mother to protect the country.

All Saints Parish in Le Mars in collaboration with Guiding Star Siouxland Women's Health and Wellness Center is presenting Faithfully Healing Infertility. The program will be presented from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Couples should register by July 8. The cost is $25.

Pope Leo, like his predecessors, has continued that tradition of bringing the light of the Gospel to guide us in our response to the issues of our own times with his encyclical Magnifica humanitas. Join Mater Dei Parish at 7 p.m. on four Mondays beginning Aug. 10 at the Mater Dei IC Center for a series of discussions of Pope Leo XIV’s first encyclical.

All Saints Parish in Le Mars is hosting a Steve Angrisano Concert Tour to benefit Mary's Meals. The Aug. 11 concert will be held at St. Joseph Church starting at 6 p.m. with a concert and presentation about Mary's Meals. At 7L30 p.m. there will be a social with wine and cheese.
