Statement on behalf of Remsen St. Mary School

Following yesterday afternoon’s traffic accident involving the Remsen St. Mary High School girls’ basketball team, we are still praying for and monitoring the conditions of those who were injured as we receive updates from family and friends.
 
In response to this tragic accident, Remsen St. Mary School is coordinating with Catholic Charities of the Sioux City Diocese to provide counseling in the days ahead for anyone who requests it. Those details will be shared with students and families by St. Mary’s School administration.
 
Any and all information pertaining to this motor vehicle accident will be released by public safety officials based upon their protocols.
