St. Edmond festival raises funds for Remsen St. Mary

St. Edmond Catholic School in Fort Dodge raised funds through the annual Festival of Trees event for the Remsen St. Mary High School students recovering from a traffic accident in November near Sioux City. 

Susan Rustvold, St. Edmond director of marketing, said $500 was raised from the Festival of Trees and $315 from the student council was forwarded to Remsen St. Mary to assist the three girls who continue to recover from the accident. Rustvold pointed out that it was "one Catholic school supporting another."
