Approximately 1,000 people from Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska and South Dakota packed the Sioux City Mater Dei Parish/Nativity Church last night for A Night of Healing with Ge'La. The event was held entirely in Spanish and planned with just a few weeks' notice.
Ge'La's shared her battle with throat cancer with attendees. After spending several hours in the presence of our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament, her throat cancer was gone. The evening kicked off with music by the Group La Forja. The evening included adoration led by Deacon Luis Guzman of St. Michael Parish, South Sioux City, Nebraska. Due to the size of the crowd, A Night with Ge’La concluded about 9:45 p.m.
