SLSM alumni rally to support classmate/coach for first game

Members of the Storm Lake St. Mary Class of 1999 gathered at Carver Hawkeye arena to cheer on their classmate Ben McCollum as he led the University of Iowa men's basketball team in his first game as head coach. Also in attendance were other St. Mary alumni who attended high school at the same time as McCollum and former high school faculty.

The Hawkeyes won their season opener against Robert Morris 101-69.
