The sixth-annual Siouxland Inspirational and Historical Film Festival will be shown at 2 p.m. Nov. 9, at the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center in Sioux City.
The festival will feature a variety of selected short films from around the region and country. These films will be uplifting, interesting, clean-language, and family-friendly. The Siouxland Filmmakers Club is hosting the event, with a focus on history movies this year.
The Filmmakers Club will premiere its first short, a high-tech kitchen comedy, during the event. The 10-minute short film was written and produced by local amateur filmmakers.
Admission is free, the audience can vote on their favorite film, a Q&A with the filmmakers will follow and treats will be provided after the show.
