Siouxland Catholic Radio 88.1 FM launched a new locally-produced show, Father Knows Best, with diocesan priest, Father Mark Stoll. The first episode aired Jan. 7 at 9 p.m.
Father Knows Best will be aired every Wednesday night to provide listeners with insights into the Catholic faith from Father Stoll.
Father Stoll has a history in radio and "hopes this will help engage Siouxland Catholic Radio listeners to address questions they have and help us to discover, learn and engage our hearts, souls and minds so we may be illuminated, informed and inspired.”
Siouxland Catholic Radio Board Vice President Don Stevens noted, “This show has the potential of really letting the listeners get questions answered otherwise not available to them. With Father Mark, we have a great priest, canon lawyer and trained media person on air."
The show was the idea of a listener and supporter of Siouxland Catholic Radio during the 2025 Spring Pledge Drive. Questions can be e-mailed to [email protected] and may be used in future programs.
This program adds another local show to the line-up including Faith in Action with Joanne Fox, Draw Near with Fred Shellabarger and Kara Kardell, and Campus Ministry Professionals with Jon Konz and Thai Hua.
The station also broadcasts more than 65 Sioux City Bishop Heelan High School games. Recently, the station added a podcast for young people produced in the Archdiocese of Omaha called Life Plan. It may be accessed at here.
