Remsen St. Mary School received a $150,000 contribution from Wells Enterprises towards the We Believe ... Our Faith, Our Family, Our Future building project. A check was presented in January by Wells at the high school to Father Tim Pick, pastor; Barry Galles, board president and Kim Phillips, principal.

We're proud to support the future of education in Remsen through this exciting and rewarding project."
The Remsen St. Mary’s School has a goal to raise $10 million to support enhancing every student’s opportunity for educational growth in their local community. To date, over $8.5 million has been raised for the project. (Read the June 2025 Remsen St. Mary groundbreaking article.)
“Wells Enterprises’ gift to the Remsen St. Mary’s School expansion project will help improve the teaching and learning environment for our students, faculty, and staff. Our highest priority is to relocate the 1910 elementary school building to our high school building allowing us to have all our students on one campus,” Phillips explained. “The support of Wells Enterprises is greatly appreciated in helping us reach our goals.” Lumen Media file photo of the June 2025 groundbreaking.Along with six classrooms for PreK-2, the new St. Mary's School addition is going to include new offices and a common space with a library. The current library in the middle/high school will be remodeled and made into two additional classrooms for the third and fourth grades.
