MercyOne Siouxland Child Advocacy Center (CAC) will hold its annual Protecting Families Conference from 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. on April 25 at Morningside University in the Yockey Room of the Olsen Student Center.
This year’s keynote speaker will be Matt Lindemeyer of the Missouri State Technical Assistance Team. He provides investigative assistance, expertise and training to local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, child protection agencies and multidisciplinary teams on investigation and prosecution of child abuse, neglect, sexual abuse, exploitation and fatality cases.

“The conference allows the Siouxland community to join together to learn and strengthen our multi-disciplinary approach to preventing and addressing child abuse,” said Victoria Ricke, manager of MercyOne Siouxland CAC.
