Knights' Silver Rose comes to diocese

Each year, from early March through mid-December, Silver Roses are stewarded by Knights of Columbus councils along routes from Canada to Mexico. Every stop the Silver Rose makes throughout the pilgrimage is a rosary-centered occasion for Knights, parishioners and community members to pray for respect for life, for the spiritual renewal of each nation, and for the advancement of the message of Our Lady of Guadalupe. It will be in the Sioux City Diocese from April 21 to 25.

On April 12 the Silver Rose will be entering Iowa in the Dubuque Archdiocese. It’s first stop will be Minona/Postville. Five additional parishes within the Dubuque diocese will be receiving the Silver Rose before it moves to the Sioux City, Des Moines and finally the Davenport Diocese. It will then be transferred to Illinois to continue its journey to Mexico.
