Iowa Great Lakes KC breakfast benefits flood victims

The Iowa Great Lakes Knights of Columbus Council 5043 of Spirit Lake thanked the community for its generosity in supporting its pancake breakfast for flood victim relief in Spencer, Rock Rapids and Estherville. The breakfast was July 21 at St. Mary’s Parish Hall, Spirit Lake. The Knights served 202 meals and raised $3,800. More than 25 Knights assisted, along with a few hard-working St. Mary’s Parish youngsters. Iowa Great Lakes Knights of Columbus Council 5043 will add $1,000 to this for a total of $4,800 in disaster relief.
