End of year donations for 2025 tax year

Parishes, schools and the Diocese of Sioux City are publishing reminders to their donors as the 2025 calendar year comes to an end tomorrow.

Supporters are reminded to ensure that the charitable entities they wish to support in the 2025 tax year need to be received by Dec. 31. Parishes are reminding their members that they cannot accept 2025 contributions in 2026 or vice-versa. 

• - By mail - be sure your contribution is postmarked by Dec. 31, 2025.
• - In person - check with the entity's business office for their operational hours on Dec. 31, or be sure to hand-deliver today.
• - Online - be sure your contribution is time-stamped before midnight, Dec. 31.
