Cecilia Church of Divine Mercy Parish, and he has been practicing for that specific feast day Mass. He said faculty and staff were invited to witness the seminarians’ Mass rehearsals as they may have a different perspective than their classmates. “The biggest thing is practicing the first Mass – that’s at the top. Deacon Rosenmeyer at the seminary.Having grown up with different priests in his parish or visiting his parents’ or grandparents’ home, Deacon Rosenmeyer said he has been fortunate to get to know diocesan priests in differing age groups from 30s to 90s. The priests who helped form him in his youth as well as the priests who will soon be his peers have helped him along his vocation journey. “That’s beautiful to be supported and to know the priests at different stages. I can call priests in their 90s and ask about (a topic) and then talk to the priests in their 40s and 30s. They all have a similar response, but it’s a different perspective because of when they were ordained,” the deacon said.
