Briar Cliff Sunday supports scholarships

Parishes throughout the Diocese of Sioux City will participate in a special collection during their weekend Masses Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 – Briar Cliff Sunday. The collection coincides with Catholic Schools Week, which runs from Jan. 25 through Jan. 31.

Contributions will fund Briar Cliff University scholarships for parishioners graduating from high school this spring. As Briar Cliff is the only Catholic college or university located within the diocese, the scholarships provide an opportunity for graduating seniors to experience a Catholic institution of higher learning.
