Bishop Garrigan students honor veterans

On Nov. 5, the Algona Bishop Garrigan School community gathered for a special Veterans Day Mass to honor the men and women who have served the country. The Mass ministries were led by members of the school family who have a special connection to the military.

The first graders provided beautiful decorations and stood proudly with flags to honor our veterans at the close of Mass.  

The choir's closing closing hymn:  

"Lord, we thank You for the men and women 

who have defended our freedom. 

May they always feel the warmth of our gratitude

 and the peace of Your presence."
