Bishop Emeritus Walker Nickless will be the guest speaker for the April 12 Divine Mercy Sunday event held at St. Michael Church in Sioux City. There will also be a novena each night at the shrine of Queen of Peace Trinity Heights, leading up to April 12.
The April 12 event begins at 1:30 p.m. with adoration and confessions. The Divine Mercy Chaplet and reflection will begin at 3 p.m. with Bishop Emeritus Nickless. A reception will follow in the St. Michael Church Parish Center.
The Divine Mercy Novena will begin April 6 and conclude April 11 in the Marian Center at Trinity Heights. The evening includes adoration, singing the chaplet and a reflection from 7 to 8 p.m. The speakers will provide reflections on God's Amazing Mercy by Bl. Michael Sopocko.
