The Iowa Great Lakes Knights of Columbus Council 5043 held its annual Soup and Dessert Supper Nov. 2. With all proceeds going toward helping others in the community, this year’s event was a resounding success.
The menu featured five soups – vegetable beef soup, chicken noodle soup, sauerkraut and sausage soup, chili, and ham and bean soup – as well as delicious dessert.
The Knights of Columbus at St. Mary Parish, in Council 5043, would like to thank the more than 400 who attended. The proceeds will be used to support a variety of needs in Dickinson County, including Coats for Kid at local schools, local food banks, Special Olympics and families in need. A huge thank you to all who support this charitable organization, including Lakes News Shopper, Dickinson County News, Lumen Media and KUOO.
