On Human Dignity, June 6, one-day retreat at St. Benedict Center, Schuyler, with Abbot Mauritius Wilde OSB, PhD, from Maria Laach, Germany.

We will spend a day with the German mystic Meister Eckhart. In his sermons and writings, he meditates on the immediate presence of God in the human soul. Eckhart particularly likes to stimulate our imagination by using metaphors. Above all, we will explore the question of the extent to which human beings are created in the image of God.
